Hillary Clinton randomly strolled into this book shop over the weekend and posed for photos

So that’s what she’s doing.

HILLARY CLINTON HAS kept a relatively low profile since conceding the election a fortnight ago.

She was spotted on a hike one day after her concession and delivered a speech at the Children Defense Fund’s Beat The Odds Gala last week.

So what’s she been doing with the rest of her free time? Going shopping for books, apparently.

The former Secretary of State visited Savoy Bookshop in Westerly, Rhode Island, on Sunday afternoon where she perused the bookshelves and chatted to staff.

Staff member Jessica Wick shared the following photo with Hillary on Facebook and wrote, “Today I met Hillary Clinton. This was a surprise and I can’t imagine meeting anyone else who looms as large. I wasn’t as eloquent as I’d have liked to be. I didn’t want to take her & her family out of their day together.”

I told her I voted for her, that she meant and means a lot. I thanked her, apologizing if I was being inappropriate or intrusive, because again: privacy. We all deserve privacy. She was gracious and she was warm and she said the bookstore was beautiful. Bill Clinton shook my hand and complimented my sweater.

The Westerly Sun reports that Hillary and her family also visited an aquarium in the town while accompanied by the secret service.

So now: books and fish. Life could be worse, right?
